Photography
- Requests for the photographing or filming of Library
material are to be made in writing to the Director. In
the application one is requested to state what material
one wishes to photograph or film and the purpose.
- Permission is given against the following conditions:
- Photos or filming are to be taken without flash
or artificial lighting
- If the material is published,
acknowledgement is to be made to the National Library
- Two (2) free copies of the publication are to be
given to the National Library, apart from the
usual legal
deposit
- A copy of each negative is to be given
to the National Library
- It is the prerogative of the Director to decide
where, when and in which physical conditions photographing
or
filming of material shall take place and to refuse
requests.
- Anyone wishing to photograph or film Library
material must provide his own photo or filming facilities.
